Best Appetizer Ever!

My dad, who is an amazing cook, introduced this appetizer to us a few years back.  I make it to take to parties all the time... people request it now!  As you can tell from the ingredients, it's not exactly fat free, but trust me- it's worth it!

Swiss Cheesy Bacon Goodness (my own name for it!)

8 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped
8 oz. of cream cheese, room temperature
1/2 cup mayonaise
2 t. dijon mustard
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
3 green onions, chopped
1/2 cup smoked almonds, chopped (you can buy them already smoked, in the aisle with other nuts)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Combine everything except almonds in mixing bowl.  Put in shallow casserole dish.  Bake until golden and bubbly.  Sprinkle chopped almonds on top right before serving.  Serve with fancy crackers or pita chips.

Any recipe that starts with bacon, cheese and mayonnaise is gonna be good.
